Q. I am technically savvy and fitted my guards myself using DIY Fitting guide and my mirror case cracked?
A. I believe the case cracked due to the cold temperature of 25º working outside. My suggestion to newbies to place the guard and wait for warmer weather or cover with soaked hot towel to warm the plastic casing to make it more pliable.

Q. Should we be worried getting infected with Corona Virus (COVID-19) when receiving, taking guards out of packaging and fitting?

A. Even though our product was pre-packaged long before Corona Virus appeared. You still need to take precautionary measures.

Q. Just to be safe can I have a machnic/body shop receive package and fit guards can you supply a list of people near my zip code?

A. Yes, we will be glad to provide you with information once the package is shipped.

OPTION: Orders can be directly shipped to your favorite shop.

Q. What is “Secure” Mirror Guard?

A. Our mirror guards are made with Carbon Steel, Powder coated fits with screws above mirrors inside housing and do not require disassembling are one of the few reasons thieves are unable to exploit and can be taken off for repairs.

Q. What is the difference between ready-made secure guard and custom design?

A. Ready-made guards are the ones were made sometime ago and are listed on site catalog, available for more than 800+ model/trims. Custom guard is (the most latest models) when you cannot find them in ready-made guard catalog, they can be custom ordered, once guards custom designed and made they are entered into ready-made list.

Q. I do not see my car/truck model on your site. What should I do?

A. It is likely that your car mirror guard is not yet been made. Send us pictures of side view mirror housing of your car/truck and Vin#. Please request us a custom design information flayer.

Q. I want to place custom order, can you provide quote and time period it will take?

A. Please provide make/model/year, a picture of car door mirror housing and a Vin#, we will quote within 48-72 hours. Please note custom design order may take 30-40 working days from the date we receive your order, due to covid-19 it is may take longer.

Q. Does this change the look of my mirror?

A. Guards fit over mirrors to protect, actually customers have told us their mirror assembly looks nice as if it came with the car.

Q. By fitting anti theft guards would my car loose its resale value?

A. Actually if your car retains original mirror at the time of sale your car has more value than the one fitted with after market mirror. Fitting home made guards that require drilling for rivets does cause your car to look ugly and loose value.

Q. Why do I need to install the anti theft mirror guard in my car?

A. Experts will tell you that if you don’t want your car’s side mirrors to be stolen or burglarized, you’ll want some visible layer of protection to discourage a thief.

Q. Will the anti theft mirror guard fit in my car / truck?

A. Please check the theft protection guards listed on catalog page to see if your car/truck matches with your model/trim/year/shape of mirror housing, if dought send us picture and we will confirm.

Q. I have Blind Spot Mirror, how do I go about fitting guard?

A. If your blind spot built into the original mirror it would fit fine. But if it is after-market placed with glue, if so, remove them and fit guards. After fitting you can now place blind spot mirrors.

Q. My car has an auto folding mirror housing, would that be an issue?

A. Most cars, trucks and SUVs are designed to keep ample space between housing and window glass; you should check the clearance before fitting guard.

Q. I found a part missing in my package. What should I do?

A. Do not return the package. Contact us and we will send you the missing parts at no extra cost.

Q. Is it possible to provide rivets to secure them?

A. We do not provide or suggest, please be aware drilling holes in your housing may permanently damage and reduce resale value of your auto.

Q. Is it possible to super glue guards to housing?

A. We do not suggest the use of super glue or other glue would cause hardening of housing surface and would stick forever and could cause damage to housing and also reduce resale value of your auto. When repairs needed would cause difficulty you may have to replace the whole housing itself.

Q. Screws provided with guards are they temper proof screws?

A. We only provide powder coated stainless steel screws for installing the guards. We do not recommend using tamper proof screws as incorrect positioning of screws can hamper normal mirror movement and it becomes difficult to reinstall the guard again without damaging the housing.

Q. What is your return policy?

A.  We give 100% money back guarantee our parts will fit OEM factory fitted mirrors or if we send you defective or wrong guard.

Q. What precaution I should take to send guards back safely?

A. We provide a flayer that explains how to pack guards securely with a unpaid return address label and a padded envelope, you may reuse the box/packaging. USPS provides free box/packaging, and please do email us Track#.

When returning guards make sure their are no loose screws within packaging as they would scratch the coding and damage will cause no refunds. Please read carefully and tape screw to bag as shown in picture.

You can locate your vehicle identification number in a few different places, both off and on your vehicle itself.

VIN# helps us acquire genuine parts from dealer for your vehicle in order to custom design guards latest guards.

Off the Vehicle, If you need to find your VIN, you can first check any documentation you have for the vehicle, such as:

Vehicle title, Registration card, Insurance documents, Owner’s manual, Body shop repair records, Police reports, Vehicle history report.

If you don’t have the documentation mentioned above, you can find the VIN on the actual vehicle itself.

On the Vehicle, The VIN can often be found on the lower-left corner of the dashboard, in front of the steering wheel. You can read the number by looking through the windshield. The VIN may also appear in a number of other locations:

Front of the engine block. This should be easy to spot by popping open the hood, and looking at the front of the engine.

Front of the car frame, near the container that holds windshield washer fluid.

Rear wheel well. Try looking up, directly above the tire.

Inside the driver-side door jamb. Open the door, and look underneath where the side-view mirror would be located if the door was shut.

Driver-side door post. Open the door, and look near the spot where the door latches, not too far from the seatbelt return.

Underneath the spare tire.

If you still can’t locate the VIN, try consulting your vehicle manual. Or, call a dealership or the manufacturer and request guidance. You will need it to do a VIN check.
